Gameify is a habit tracking application designed with a strong focus on privacy. The app is primarily offline-first, meaning that most data is stored locally on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding your information.

Data Storage

Local Storage (Primary)
Gameify stores most of your data directly on your device using a local database. This includes:

• Habit names and descriptions
• Scores and tracking data
• Streaks and progress
• Goals and rewards

This data remains on your device unless you choose to use cloud features.

Cloud Synchronization (Optional)
If you choose to use cloud sync, your data is securely uploaded to our cloud infrastructure powered by Supabase. This may include:

• Habit data (names, scores, progress, etc.)
• App usage data related to your habits

The purpose of this is to:

• Sync your data across multiple devices
• Enable backup and recovery

Authentication

Gameify offers optional account creation using:

• Google Sign-In
• Apple Sign-In

When you log in, we may receive:

• Your email address
• Your name (if available from the provider)
• Your profile picture (if available from the provider)
• A unique user identifier

We do not access your passwords. Authentication is handled securely by the respective providers.

How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used solely to:

• Provide app functionality
• Sync data across devices (if enabled)
• Improve app stability and performance

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Sharing

We only share data with trusted service providers strictly necessary for app functionality:

• Supabase (cloud database and backend services)
• Google / Apple (authentication services)

Data Retention

• Local data remains on your device until you delete the app or remove it manually
• Cloud data is stored as long as your account exists
• You can request deletion of your data at any time
